"After six months under Simone's tutelage I have gained flexibility, weight loss and core strength like I never had before. As a sceptic who was "dragged along" I wasn't convinced I (a 6"2 man who weighed over 100kg) would get much out of Pilates. I was wrong. I was amazed, as was my physio who was treating me for workplace injuries, at my physical achievements in such a short time period. "A year and a half ago I had a bulging disc in my lumbar spine which was restricting me from doing any exercise and taking a toll on my daily life. I was in huge amounts of pain in my lower back, psoas and other hip flexors, in fact I was not even able to put on a pair of shoes comfortably. After months of treatments from chiropractors, physiotherapists and acupuncturists, none of which gave me any relief, I finally tried Pilates. At first it was hard to make the smallest of movements in the class and being generally quite fit, this was embarrassing for me. FAQs

I’m pregnant, do I need to let you know?

Yes! Before booking, you’ll need a one-on-one so that we can keep you safe during our training sessions. You’ll then be able to safely join our group sessions.​​

I have an injury, what do I do?

Let us know about any injuries or pregnancies before booking into your first class. Make sure you let your trainer know about your injury when you get to class so they can adjust movements if needed.

Do you do trial classes?

Yes, you can try a class at The Loft with an intro special. Download our app or 

What should I wear?

We recommend light, breathable clothing designed for exercise.

Do I need to bring anything?

All mats and props are provided, just bring a bottle of water and get ready to get sweaty! Towels also recommended

 

How early should I arrive to class?

We suggest getting to the studio 5-10 minutes early so you can get a park. For safety reasons, no entry is permitted 5 minutes after class has started.
